Untersuchung zur Realisierbarkeit und Umsetzung eines Hochleistungsregistriersystems auf der Basis von Java
Zur Registrierung von Internet-Domänen soll ein bestehendes Hochleistungsregistriersystem auf der Basis von Java um die Möglichkeit zur Registrierung weiterer Top-Level-Domänen erweitert werden. Dabei muss eine sichere Ver- und Anbindung an die jeweilige Registry erfolgen. Eine relationale Datenbank speichert alle Vorgänge. Eingehende Anfragen werden auf Plausibilität geprüft, in ein geeignetes Format konvertiert und anschließend an ein übergeordnetes System (Registry) weitergeleitet. Die Antworten der Registry werden in das Anfrageformat zurückkonvertiert und dem Absender der Anfrage zugestellt. Die Integrität aller übermittelten Daten muss bzgl. Konsistenz und Transportsicherheit gewährleistet werden. Weiterhin werden Berichte über erfolgte Aktionen über begrenzte Zeiträume erstellt und den Benutzern per EMail zugestellt.
Investigation for the Feasibility and Realisation of a High Performance Registration System
A high performance registration system for the registration of various top level domains is developed on the base of Java. This system should be extended by the possibility of the registration of further top level domains that are hosted by one registry that is yet not realised in the existing system. For the registration process at the additional registry there have to be established and sustained secure internet connections. Incoming registration requests are examined by the system for plausibility, converted into a suitable format and afterwards passed on to the registry. The responses of the registry are back-converted into the request format and sent back to the sender of the incoming request. All procedures and data are stored in a relational database. The integrity of all conveyed data concerning consistency and transportation security must be ensured. Further reports over user actions taken place during limited time periods should be generated and sent to the users by email.
